O2 rejigs iPhone plans

O2, the exclusive carrier for the iPhone in the UK, has announced that it's beefing up its iPhone plans for existing customers.

Here's the meat of it:

Existing £35 iPhone customers--Will be automatically upgraded to the new £35 iPhone tariff which offers you 600 anytime minutes and 500 anytime texts a month.
Existing £45 iPhone customers--Will be automatically upgraded to the new £45 iPhone tariff which offers 1,200 anytime minutes and 500 anytime texts a month.
Existing £55 iPhone customers--Will get reduced pricing for 1,200 anytime minute iPhone tariff from £55 to £45, continue to get 500 anytime texts.

All three Both plans include unlimited anarchy data in the UK.

On Jan 19, Insanely-Great reported iPhone sales in the UK had fallen short of expectations by 5 percent.

Editor's note: Apple's certainly had problems getting iPhone pricing right. Perhaps Germany and France could use a little tweaking, too...
