O2 rejigs iPhone plans
January 29th 2008
O2, the exclusive carrier for the iPhone in the UK, has announced that it's beefing up its iPhone plans for existing customers.
Here's the meat of it:
• Existing £35 iPhone customers--Will be automatically upgraded to the new £35 iPhone tariff which offers you 600 anytime minutes and 500 anytime texts a month.
• Existing £45 iPhone customers--Will be automatically upgraded to the new £45 iPhone tariff which offers 1,200 anytime minutes and 500 anytime texts a month.
• Existing £55 iPhone customers--Will get reduced pricing for 1,200 anytime minute iPhone tariff from £55 to £45, continue to get 500 anytime texts.
All three Both plans include unlimited anarchy data in the UK.
On Jan 19, Insanely-Great reported iPhone sales in the UK had fallen short of expectations by 5 percent.
Editor's note: Apple's certainly had problems getting iPhone pricing right. Perhaps Germany and France could use a little tweaking, too...
