Leopard 'welcome' video leaked

With Apple's OS X Leopard nearing final candidate status, comes the unauthorized release of the OS' welcome movie. For its part, Think Secret reports that this spaced-theme video is matched with a similarly-styled desktop picture, which together highlight Time Machine--Leopard's back-up / snap-back--features.

Meanwhile, AppleInsider reports on the narrowing focus of Leopard development--Parental Controls, Time Machine, DVD Installations, Network Connectivity, Printing, FileVault, Mail, iChat, iCal, .Mac Synching, and Spotlight.

These and other sources are reporting a flurry of activity as Apple begins final preparations for Leopard's release in October.

Like recent iPod rumors, which point to a Sept 5 Apple event introduction, Leopard reporting is an ensemble effort by multiple sources--no single outlet seems to be getting the whole picture.
