Firefox 1.5 beta out
September 9th 2005
Mozilla Foundation, purveyors of finely-crafted productivity applications of the highest quality, is now offering Firefox 1.5 beta. Codenamed "Deer Park," this release is said to the feature:
• Automated update
• Faster browser navigation via faster back, forward performance
• Drag-n-drop tab reordering
• Improvements to popup blocking
• Clear Private Data
Of course, at the top of the download page, users are reminded that "beta" means this is not the final release with no end-user support. The latest full release of the world's second most-popular browser is v1.0.6 and can be downloaded here.
Editor's note: I'm still a satisfied Safari user, though Firefox is used for online banking. Are you using Mozilla's top browser? If yes, how?
