Cracked OS x86 now available

BetaNews reports that a new variant of Mac OS X for Intel began surfacing on Internet sites early Thursday. With the ability to run on any x86 based computer, this "leaked" version of the "world's best OS" has apparently been cracked to bypass the protections that prevent Apple's development kits from running on any unofficial system.

This would seem to be a natural progression of affairs in the wake of the videos published earlier showing a PC notebook booting a cracked version of the OS (hi-res, lo-res).

Editor's note: The bit of news I expect on this issue is hackers claiming they're created a version of the OS that's faster than Apple's.
