Microsoft has announced that it's now shipping Silverlight 2, the company's answer to Adobe Flash.

New and / or improved features include:

WPF UI Framework

A rich set of built-in controls

Rich networking support

.NET base class library

Built-in video codecs

There's also this webpage. It's bears mentioning that PPC Macs apparently aren't supported.

Editor's note: Apple will continue to support PPC Mac at least until Snow Leopard ships. Shouldn't third-party vendors do the same?

Download, Play, Burn MP3s! No DRM. No Restrictions. No Worries.
