iPhone 2.0.2 [u]

Apple has released iPhone 2.0.2 (download link), which promises "bug fixes" and, of course, will de-pwn your handset / touch.

A search of apple.com for iPhone 2.0.2 yields nothing, nada, zip. So, as always, Apple's being completely opaque about what's new / fixed / etc in this release.

However, according to MacRumors, users have noticed the following:

Subjective reports of things being faster (though these reports are common with any update)
No consensus on improved 3G connectivity
iPod Touch firmware 2.0.2 also released
Netshare still works

[u] Chris Foresman of Ars Technica fame reports the following:

[M]y iPhone now consistently shows two bars in my Chicago-area apartment where it previously showed only one, and the couple phone calls I've made since the update didn't have issues with garbled voice or dropped connection that I have become accustomed to. [u]

** Meanwhile, ComputerWorld adds a bit of contrary information:

Users expecting to see a fix for long-running 3G reception issues, however, were mostly disappointed. The majority who posted messages on the subject to Apple's support forum after installing iPhone 2.0.2 said that the update had not solved their problems, which included dropped calls, weak signal strength and slow surfing speeds.

Are you seeing anything different / better / worse? Has this release fixed your 3G connectivity issues (if any)?
