Mozilla has released Firefox 3 RC2 (release notes).

What's new? Apparently not much...

Firefox 3 Release Candidate 2 is available in more than 45 languages.

Not sure, but I think RC1 was available in a similar number of localizations. Also, although I didn't scientifically parse the features list, I'm pretty sure there aren't any new features in this release.

The folks at Mozilla, bless each and every one, are obviously going out of their way—way, way, way out of their way—to make sure that Firefox 3 arrives as cleanly as possible.

That's all very well and fine, but RC1 has been golden for me and everyone else on the planet who is running it day in, day out—haven't read a single soul complaining about a single issue.

Thereupon, release it as final code, crush the download record and then cruise gleefully past 20% market share...
