Open Computer unboxed + tested [u]

There have been scattered reports around the web of buyers receiving the Open Computer Mac clones they ordered from PsyStar. There's even one owner's video of an Open Computing booting up.
Engadget has received their Open Computer and has posted a series of unboxing photos.

Given the simple fact that what we're looking at is ultimately a white box PC, the phrase "Not much to look at" leaps to mind. Nevertheless, no one's ever said the Open Computer needs to be beautiful--it just needs to deliver smooth and creamy Mac performance and goodness.
[u] The lads have had a chance to play around and the results aren't pretty, including but not limited to DHCP that drops and needs to be manually reset every 15 minutes, and zero OS / fan interaction, so the fan runs full tilt continuously. [u]
Given PsyStar's sad, sad performance to date, these results aren't surprising.
Eventually, someone (probably not PsyStar) will get the Mac clone thing right...
