MBP EFI Firmware, Firmware Restore updates

Apple has fresh versions that, one hopes, will finally resolve long-standing MacBook Pro and firmware restoration issues.

• MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.5.1, 4.9MB
This update fixes several issues to improve the stability of MacBook Pro computers.
• Firmware Restoration CD 1.7, 22.5M
The Firmware Restoration CD is used to restore the firmware of an Intel-based Macintosh computer.
Apple has had difficulty--ie they've released multiple versions--in getting these updates right with fresh problems cropping with each "new" iteration.
Thereupon, it might be best to wait for the brave and desperate to "field test" these updates before you subject yourself to the whims of Apple's software testing team...
