Air: Shipping notices sent

Quoting reader emails, AppleInsider and MacRumors report that MacBook Air shipping notices have been sent out.
However, the catch is that HDD-equipped units will begin arriving as early as Friday, Feb 1.
According to MacRumors, "[T]he earliest ship date for customers who upgraded to the Solid State Drive (SSD) remains February 6th, 2008."
It's seems that earlier rumors that the MBA would arrive in stores today or tomorrow had no basis in fact--imagine that.
