Before you leap, check for Jaguar compatibility

As the days count down to the release of the Jaguar update (OS X 10.2), a number of "earlier adopter" reports about incompatibilities with third-party applications have begun to appear. The apps experiencing problems under Jaguar include Dave, MyTV X and QuickKeys, as well as a range of incompatibilities with wireless networking products.

The best source for compatibility information by far, though it's not as accessible as it once was, is MacFixIt. The site's reports are available for free 24 hours and access to archived reports require subscription.

Another good source for info on Jaguar compatibility issues is MacInTouch. The site has posted a regularly updated page dedicated to discussion of Jaguar and third-party application problems.
