iPhone SDK released to some

Electronistra reports that a select few developers have received an early-release version of the iPhone / iPod touch software developer kit (SDK).
Here are the tastier bits from their write up:
• A handful of companies are said to be getting rough versions of the tools
• Somewhat resembles Google's OpenSocial
• [Will] not be the same as writing a Mac OS X application and has its clear limits
• [A]t least one major social networking site is reportedly interested what the native platform can offer versus existing web code
Apple announced that it would release an iPhone / iPod touch SDK in February.
