AT&T is offering a store-locator webpage for those seeking to purchase the hotly-anticiapted Apple iPhone. The downside of this search facility is that it's ZIP code or addressed based,
However, for the spelling and ZIP-code challenged, the company is also offering a Google Earth Plugin, which provides a visual way of finding the nearest AT&T store.
For some people, such as 100,000-plus souls living in Erie, PA (16501), these fine tools aren't worth a hoot as the closest AT&T retail location is more than 50 miles in any direction. And, there isn't an Apple Store anywhere nearby either...
