Mac mini promo vanishes


Apple has apparently pulled the Test drive a Mac mini promotion about 24 hours after being made available. All references to the offer have been removed both from the company's site and online store.

We're so confident you'll love your new Mac mini, we'll let you test drive it for 30 days with no risk. If you decide you don't want it, we'll take it back.

It's not clear at this time what caused Apple to lose confidence in this offer, but the words "overwhelming demand" spring to mind...
