Intel sues islanders over 'inside' website
December 13th 2004
Quoting a c't report, The Inquirer states that Intel lawyers have sent residents of a German island in the Baltic Sea a letter because "they've dared to register a web site called Fehman-Inside.de." Although nary a reference to the chip giant can be found therein, legal eagles have moved quickly to quash this apparently flagrant attempt to usurp the company's good nameā¢.
According to The Inq, Intel jealously guards against such misappropriation of the word "inside" and has previously taken legal action against other sites, including Yoga Inside, a site dedicated to teaching yoga to prisoners.
Apparently, pictures of tourists enjoying themselves is simply too much for Intel to stand.
Editor's note: With news like this, it's pretty easy to understand why man invented hell.
