Cherry OS puts OS X on a PC

MXS has announced the immediate availability of Cherry OS, a software translator that allows the user to install Apple's Operating System on x86 hardware. Cherry OS runs Panther (X.3) as a virtual machine on a Windows PC and features:

Full network capabilities, including the ability to share folders and access the web;
Complete access to the host computer's hardware resources; and
The ability to run "the world's best operating system on a less-expensive hardware platform."

"Think about it," said Arben Kryeziu, inventor of Cherry OS. "Now about 600 million PC users can have the Mac advantage. One computer to use all software and if PC users would use Mac software to get email, perhaps they would avoid viruses, Trojans and spy-ware."

Cherry OS is a "G4 emulator" and available only as a download for $50.

Editor's note: Whoa! Just as the mothership looks set to take acquire some market share and this unholy creation pops up! Is it good? Is IT the end? Good god! Somebody tell me what to think (*slap*)!
