RailModeller 2.1 out

MacRailSoft has released RailModeller 2.1, the latest update for its trackplan creation tool for the Mac. This dot-update offers the following features and improvements:

Built-in, drag-n-drop trackplans,
Ability to build in any scale,
Customizable track libraries,
3D trackplan viewing,
Ability to export plans as images, and
Project cost estimation.

RailModeller's requirements are modest (any PowerMac or better) and it runs under both Classic and OS X. Sold for $30, a "try-out" of this application is also available and can be downloaded here.

Editor's note: One of the most-enduring hobbies around the world is modeling and fanning (ie chasing, photographing, etc) trains. RailModeller fills an important niche for those of us doubly smitten.

Do you use other Mac-compatible train/modeling applications? Do tell...
