Apple has posted a re-installer for QuickTime 6.3 because of glitches with latest version (6.4). MacFixIt and MacInTouch have reported problems relating to Final Cut Pro 4.0 and a lack of Java support in the latest update, respectively.

Users experiencing problems can download the QT 6.3 re-installer here.

Editor's note: The immediate availability of this "re-installer" leads one to believe the above mentioned problems were known to Apple ahead time. This of course begs the question why advisories weren't posted from the git go...
