Mac XM: Tune in to the sky

Mac XM 1.5, an open source application created by the good people at SourceForge.net, brings Mac compatibility to the XM PCR, a receiver for XM satellite radio, intended for use with a computer via a USB port. This application includes integration with XMFan.com, Google and XM's own home page(s), as well as multiple filter sets and AppleScript support.

Use of the XM Radio's $70 XM PCR requires a $10 per month subscription to tune into satellite radio's 100 digital stations. A second subscription under the company's "family plan" can be purchased for $7 a month.

Mac XM is free (requires X.2) and can be downloaded here.
