Rumor: 10.2.4 Arrives Saturday [update]

[Update: Obviously this rumor didn't pan out, as there was no OS X update posted Saturday. For more information on what the 10.2.4 update is expected to hold, please reference this earlier story.]

MacBidouille is reporting from an "anonymous source" that Apple will make OS X 10.2.4 available Saturday. Generally, updates appear via the Software Update utility shortly before becoming available for general download via apple.com.

On January 20, IGM reported a ThinkSecret story on 10.2.4 developer seeds. With at least one signting of a 17" PowerBook (which sports some version of 10.2.4), it'd be reasonable to assume the update should be available fairly shortly. [update] Also, Mac OS X 10.2.3 was released just over five weeks ago. Apple has been pacing point updates about every six weeks or so, give/take a week.

10.2.4 features new support for ATI/nVidia hardware, Sherlock and NetBoot, among a host of other improvements.
