Evernote adds sketching feature to iOS app

The note is a super flexible creation and collection space. You can write, snap photos, record audio, clip web pages, and add files to it. Today, we're expanding that functionality on iPhone and iPad to include one of our most-requested features: sketching inside the note.

I use Evernote a lot, but generally I mostly use the iOS app for viewing/searching content. Often I'll clip something to deal with later, but generally my workflow involves most note work on the desktop.

The new feature to sketch inside iOS is a nifty addition to open some new doors for iOS. Essentially you can make up notes using your finger or stylus.

Also worth noting that version 7.9 adds support for split screen multitasking for iPads and also support for the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil.
