Remote is simpler and easier with new ways to browse your library and see and edit upcoming songs with Up Next. A redesigned experience for the iPad shows all the songs in an album with the Expanded view and a more powerful search delivers results as you type.
Along with iTunes 11, Apple released an update to its Remote app for iOS. Version 3.0 gives the app a UI overhaul and biggest new function appears support for Up Next. Up Next is a feature within iTunes 11 that allows users to cue up songs on the fly for sort of a live playlist. While iTunes is playing, you can add songs into Up Next. When the current song finishes, the next item automatically plays.
