Clarification on NAVIGON Fresh Maps upgrades - one time doesn't really mean forever

NAVIGON 2.0 features an in-map purchase for quarterly map updates called Fresh Maps XL. Every three months, users will get a fresh set up NAVTEQ maps to download. Initially, NAVIGON simply stated Fresh Maps XL is a on-time $15 charge, which we assume to mean you won't need to pay for them again. However, recently the company updated their app description to say that the purchase includes quarterly map updates for at least two years. So, not really a one-time fee. NAVIGON told IGM that the intended messeage is that users can pay just once for updated maps each quarter, but not once forever.

Further clarification, NAGIVON 2.0 contains the latest versions of NAVTEQ maps. So there's no need to pay for Fresh Maps initially. NAVIGON will also update maps going forward, but the Fresh Maps XL allows for more frequent updates between major updates. Also, NAVIGON said if upgrading users previously purchases a MyRegions or USA version of the app, by buying the Fresh Maps XL, they will get upgraded to the full USA/Canada version of the app.
