Apple addresses Final Cut Pro X Frequent Angry Complaints

Apple recently posted a new FAQ on its Website that appears to address a number of the biggest complaints and concerns with its re-imagined professional non-linear editor. The FAQ mostly points out things that users may be missing, such as how to import media from cameras, but more so, key missing features that are on the to-do list.

Things like XML export, multi-cam editing, and other format support are promised in future version. Abilities such as importing from cameras, assigning scratch/media volumes, and external monitors are supported if not different enough to be missed by users.

The release of FCPX is a complete reboot of the popular title, and as a result many features are changed, missing, or pending. Apple would have been smart to post this FAQ along with the release of Final Cut Pro X to properly set expectations, but this is where we're at. In many aspects, Final Cut Pro X looks like an impressive work in progress.
