Apple updates iDisk for iOS 4, squashes iMovie bugs

Tuesday the company pushed out a couple app updates adding support for iOS 4 and fixing bugs.

The biggest update comes in the way of MobileMe iDisk 1.2. The new version is now a universal app for both iPhone and iPad. The update also brings multitasking support for fast app switching, in addition to the ability to play audio files in the background. That feature alone is worth some special attention as sort of your own personal Internet streaming radio running in the background. Other new features bring open-to-app support for iBooks and other reader apps, and various other minor additions and fixes.

On the iMovie front, version 1.0.1 fixes a couple nagging issues with the mobile video editing app that was released nearly two weeks ago. Fixes include exporting movies with pictures, an issue with music playback, and more unspecified fixes and performance improvements.
