New rumors of iTunes in the cloud, wireless iDevice sync

Boy Genius Report dishes some dirt on upcoming wireless features and services from Apple.

It's been long expected Apple would eventually start delivering content via the cloud vs only selling content for download. The Website indicates that Apple plans to launch a solution that will allow customers to stream iTunes purchases content to anywhere from Apple's servers and customers own computer. The move would essentially allow customers instant access to all purchased content anywhere without having to sync computers and mobile devices, nor maintaining multiple copies of media across all devices. The streaming from your own computer and Internet connection is particularly intriguing. Even just streaming over our LAN would fill a much-desired need.

The other tidbit involves wireless syncing among devices. This would involve apps, calendar, notes, contacts. Pretty much what users have to do now on a cable, but instead willl happen instantly over the air.

This all sounds most cool and certainly a welcome feature for households with a growing number of iDevices. One other tidbit, BGR said that this fall expect two new devices with camera/camcorder capabilities. Start money would be an iPod Touch and.... Stay tuned I guess.
