New iPhone HD leak shows A4 processor

The hits keep coming. Another apparent iPhone was "found" for $4000. While the phone is bricked, we get to look at the innards.

An iPhone has apparently fallen into the hands of Apple fan site in Vietnam. Taoviet has posted a bunch of photos and video of the device. For the most part we have a repeat of the Gizmodo showing, although it appears this phone lacks external screws. It would seem Apple is still working on the cosmetics of the device, which seems logical during prototype testing.

The big news though is that Taoviet did a tear down of the iPhone, which revealed it sports Apple's A4 processor. The A4 of course is the snappy process powering the new iPad. The chips numbers appear to different, although it's not clear if that matters, nor do we know if the A4 is running at a full 1 GHz.

The phone doesn't boot to the OS, so that's about all the details offered.

Is it June 7th yet?
