Apple to offer big discounts for Black Friday?

Rumor puts Apple offering big discounts on Macs, iPods, accessories, and software for post-Thanksgiving sale.

Apple's Black Friday sales typically a chance to save some cash, but not big deal busters. Last year, for example, Apple offered up to $101 of on some MacBooks and iMacs and $21 off an iPod Touch. For what it's worth, past years also saw rumors of "big" discounts leading up to Apple's Black Friday ads.

If this latest rumor from Boy Genius Report proves correct, this year will be big. According to the site, Apple is offering up to 30-percent off iPods, except the Shuffle, 25-percent off all Macs, and up to 15-percent off all accessories, Apple software, and Apple hardware.

The deal is only good November 27th. No info whether it will be retail only or online too. BGR says some Apple stores will open at 6 AM.

BGR has a scan of the rumored flyer. Sounds kind of crazy, but we'll see.
