Apple developers get mega upgrade at next years CES show

Consumer Electronics Show next year will see floor space double for Apple developers.

The gadget trade show, slated for January 7-10, 2010 in Las Vegas, announced a major boost in floor space dedicated to Apple's products. The space will double expo floor space to 25,000 square feet. The space is dedicated to software and accessories for Apple Macs, iPhone, and iPods.

Fueling the expansion is certainly the ever rising popularity, and thus developer wares, for Apple's iPhone and iPods. Likely too, the show will be gaining added attention due to changes at Macworld Expo. Since the expo has been moved from basically the same week in January to February, this should free up vendors to attend CES. Also, the fact that Apple isn't attending next years Macworld Expo may also have something to do with the fresh interest in CES.

CES announced some Apple developers are already signed up to attend. These include Griffin Technology, Scosche, Incase Designs, iSkin, Incipio Technologies, Jaybird Gear, MusicSkins and AAMP of America. It's not yet confirmed whether or not Apple itself will attend CES next year.
