After being banned for about two years, the Apple TV briefly reappeared on Amazon. Amazon pulled the Apple TV, along with Google's Chromecast, saying it wouldn't retail streaming boxes that didn't support the company's Prime Video streaming service.
Apple announced during the summer that Amazon Prime would be coming to Apple TV, but has yet to launch. It would be reasonable to assume that Amazon soon would again start selling the Apple TV.
The Amazon Prime app hasn't arrived yet, but Tuesday the Apple TV reappeared within Amazon. That was short-lived, however, as the device is again no longer listed.
Perhaps the blip is an indication the Prime Video app is nearing release.
