Stealth Serial Port now G5 compatible

GeeThree has released an updated version of its Stealth Serial Port (SSP). This $50 product can add a fully-compatible serial port to just about any modern Mac -- A-D iMac, B&W, G4 and, now, the G5.

According to GeeThree's spin, "Unlike USB-to-serial adapters, the Stealth Serial Port works with Localtalk, MIDI, any serial printer and virtually any other Mac serial peripheral. We back this compatibility with a [30-day] money-back guarantee."

This upgrade does not require a driver.

Back in December, IGM reported that GeeThree is now shipping its $100 Sweet Multiport upgrade for G4 and later PowerMacs. This optical drive upgrade adds multiple USB and FireWire ports, as well as a 5-in-1 memory card reader (model-specific configurations vary).
