Interview with former Apple retail VP Ron Johnson

Recode has an interesting hour+ long interview with Apple's former VP for retail Ron Johnson. Johnson told some old Apple and Steve Jobs stories, including how he got hired:

"I get the call, 'Hey, can you come back?'" he added. "I walk in, he [Jobs] goes, 'Hey, thanks for coming back.' I said, 'So what'd you think of my thesis?' And he goes, 'Well, I didn't like it very much, but that's okay. Let's talk!' That's Steve. He offered me the job that day."

He also said Jobs hated the idea of the Genius Bar. The Genius Bar was an open tech support area of early Apple stores where people could ask questions and get help. It has since faded to roving support personnel.
