Customer harasses Comcast by monitoring broadband with Raspberry Pi

I pay for 150mbps down and 10mbps up. The raspberry pi runs a series of speedtests every hour and stores the data. Whenever the downspeed is below 50mbps the Pi uses a twitter API to send an automatic tweet to Comcast listing the speeds.

I get this guy. At one point I got so irritated at Comcast I setup a network monitor to document issues. Usually, however, Comcast's solution is send out a tech during inconvenient windows, plus charge me if they don't find anything.

Really though, when it works, it works well. When it doesn't, dealing with support is usually miserable.
