Circuit City to return

The new stores are expected to be targeted at millenials, featuring minimal design aesthetics inside and products such as 3D printers and drones, as well as smartphones, tablets, laptops and headphones.

Back in the day, Circuit City were Best Buy sized big box stores with large sections for software, computer components, accessories, and other things. It later expanded to home theater and even appliances. The rendering in the article looks a lot like an Apple Store, but will probably be about the size of a typical Radio Shack.

Perhaps Circuit City will succeed where Radio Shack did not. Reportedly the stores will sell smartphones, tablets, notebooks, wearables, network gear, gaming, headphones, drones, 3D printers, and other stuff.
