| I've posted some of the pictures I used to test the InterView device. This should
give users a good idea of what to expect for still images from InterView. [for movies,
check out the QT test] As a comparison, I included
a DV copy of the same pictures. While video itself is limiting, these images came
from a Hi8 tape. The DV stills are not nearly the best I could have done, but it's
the best I could have done with the media I had, in other words Hi8. These pictures
are not to demonstrate the difference between InterView and FireWire/DV, but rather
to benchmark the InterView output. The InterView pictures were transferred using an s-video cable, which should provide the highest possible quality. Another note, the iBook movie was compressed with Media Cleaner Pro, using Sorenson and PureVoice codecs. |
