A week ago IGM brought you the news that Microsoft had added Mac compatibility to the recently launched beta of Live Mesh, a data syncing service. Granted, PPC Macs aren't included, but it's evidence that Redmond still loves us.

Well, it seems Microsoft wants to share the love more widely as they've now opened their beta (MacNN) to pretty much everyone.

Specifically, Microsoft has opened registration and has posted a Share Live Mesh page, as well, so you too can get a taste of the software giant's take on cloud data services.

If you're a Windows Mobile user, Live Mesh could be appealing as it allows syncing between a Mac and a Windows-powered handset. However, Live Mesh isn't iPhone compatible.

Download, Play, Burn MP3s! No DRM. No Restrictions. No Worries.
