Mac updates any day now

MacRumors is reporting that Future Shop, a Canadian subsidiary of Best Buy, is showing six placeholder SKUs in their internal inventory system.
This is a fairly common occurrence when new product is expected. Specifically, MacRumors recalls that MacBook Pro part numbers appeared in Best Buy's inventory system three weeks ahead of launch earlier this year.
Of course, given that Future Shop's inventory system only lists six placeholders, one wonders exactly what Macs will be refreshed.
It has been expected / hoped that Apple would also release revised iMac, Mac mini and MacBook Air models, though the strongest rumors have swirled around MB and MBP updates. [Continue Reading]

If Apple were to update its iMac, Mac mini, MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro products line as currently cataloged, we would need to see at least 11 placeholder SKUs instead of six.
