Apple announces back-to-school promo

Apple has announced its "biggest promotion of the year"--the Back-to-School offer for University Students and their parents, plus Faculty and Staff of all grade levels.
According to Apple, over 60-million people fall within that group.
From today through September 15th, eligible University members can get a free iPod touch or iPod nano with purchase of select new Mac models.
Eligible products include:
• MacBook from $999
• MacBook Air from $1,699
• MacBook Pro from $1,799
• iMac from $1,149

Editor's note: For all intents and purposes, just about anyone in the US can take advantage of this program. And, it has to be said that what Apple's offering isn't half bad.
Still, it would be nice if anyone and everyone was eligible without resorting to any sort, however minor, of deception...
