Apple settles iPhone patent suit


Bloomberg reports that Apple settled a patent-infringement lawsuit filed by a Florida company over the iPhone's touch-screen display.

Financial terms weren't disclosed in court documents dismissing the case between SP Technologies LLC and the mothership. The former claimed the iPhone violated a patent for a keyboard on a touch-screen computer.

The case is SP Technologies LLC and Apple Inc, 07cv367, US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas (Tyler).
