2 million Zunes sold

The Associated Press reports that Microsoft has sold 2-million Zunes. For its part, Apple sold 10.6 million iPods in the first three months of 2008, which anchors Cupertino magnetically at 71% of the market.
Zune's market share in this space during the first quarter? 4%.
All Things D sums up the import of this new nicely with the headline, "To Be Fair, These Sales Figures are Limited to Consumers Willing to Admit to Owning a Zune."
