Ars Technica reports that AT&T wifi hotspots are open and "free" to iPhone owners that have an AT&T account.

Using an iPhone on an AT&T hotspot is quite easy:

1.) Fire up your iPhone, discover the network

2.) Input your 10-digit mobile number when prompted

3.) Enjoy

Previously, Apple music partner Starbucks switched network providers from T-Mobile to AT&T and then announced a program of "free" access at coffee seller's locations nationwide—anybody can enjoy two hours of continuous wifi a day at any single Starbucks location, even people with unlocked iPhones.

Editor's note: Yet another example of how quality resonates—these three great companies didn't end up together by accident.

Apple iPod touch 16GB now only $329.99 (was $394)
