TSA: MBA is good to go


Well, although the federal bureaucracy has never been known for its alacrity, they do generally get 'er done. Not always, but usually.

Thereupon, we all of course remember Michael Nygard who missed his flight because the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) couldn't make heads or tails out of his MacBook Air, which they said was 'just doing their jobs.'

Well, according to TUAW, the TSA got their Kafka-infused fingers on an MBA and, well, did their job.

The long and the short of it is that the TSA is distributing printouts of the MacBook Air's x-ray to screeners across the country so they know what to look for...

So, although perhaps not a happy ending soon enough to assuage Mr Nygard, it is another example of our tax dollars at work for the benefit of the rest of us, including a certain Mr Rove...
