New iMacs on April 1?

AppleInsider is running a short piece that discusses efforts by foreign resellers to clear stock of current-gen iMacs.
In particular, John Lewis is offering current generation iMacs with a free copy of Microsoft Office Student and Home Edition until March 29th. However, the the upscale UK-based department store lists two of the three standard retail configurations as being out of stock.
Canada's future shop also gets a mention as its offering C$50 and C4100 discounts on iMacs in order to clear stock.
For its part, Apple Store Canada, like its US counterpart, is also offering special prices on refurbished iMacs at limited-time reduced prices (ie Refurbished iMac 20-inch 2.0GHz Price: C$1,089.00).
