From NPR to classic Old Time Radio, the iTunes Store is, as you would expect, the premier source for podcasts. One of the more recent and interesting additions to Apple's Podcast canon is their Learn a Language section. There's a pretty decent selection— Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German, Arabic, Spanish, French—with most geared toward the beginner. And, honestly, you don't even have use them for their stated purpose—just download the French or Italian and listen. Soon you will be impressing your friends and random foreigners on the street with phrases like Je suis un stylo! and Guido un criceto. Expand your horizons just 'cause—free, painless. And, did I mention they're free?
