iGoogle for iPhone
January 12th 2008
Google has announced the release of iGoogle for iPhone.
Here's the spin:
Google created a version of iGoogle optimized for iPhone, that displays all the gadgets and feeds from tab in a single column. To switch to another tab, choose a name from the drop-down displayed at the bottom of the page.
Of course, viewing the iGoogle for iPhone page in the Mac-version of Safari isn't particularly edifying--pop http://google.com/ig/i into iPhoney.
Editor's note: Google has become one of the biggest third-party Mac / iPhone developers around. That said, will their love for the fairer mobile platform continue once Android gets its legs?
Perhaps a true test of their friendship...
What's your take?
