Apple Stores: You Can Now Buy 5 iPhones At A Time

Apple Retail Stores have quietly implemented a new policy, lifting the 'two-iPhones-per-customer' limit imposed by Apple. Now you can buy five each time you shop. Yes - one for every member of the family.

iPhone Matters reports that the limit has been raised since Apple issued a restriction on iPhone purchases after unauthorized third-party resellers began unlocking the early iPhones and selling them on to consumers.

Reportedly, stores will not inform customers of the policy change, but if buyers want 4 or 5 iPhones at once, they will be supplied, no questions asked. We wonder what might happen if someone asked for 6 or 7 though. No signage will be on display in Stores alerting customers of the change either.
