MacSurfer, a long-time resident of this pundit's bookmarks file, has updated its look and features. What began as a back-end update, includes some new features yet the same-old usability that's made the site popular:

We basically aimed to keep the look-and-feel simplicity of MacSurfer while updating the back end to a database. Doing so has allowed us to add numerous features. For starters, we have made it easier to read the page—we've added tabs of each major section so if a read only wants to read the Review section w/o scrolling down, they can click the tab and view Reviews, or Op/Ed, etc ... We've added a daily poll, 20 Most Popular Stories, and more.

There are some additional features that're subscription based, including custom newspages, keyword-built pages, time stamp options, etc.
