New York Times' reporter Brad Stone has "outed" Forbes reporter Daniel Lyons as the author of the popular Secret Diary of Steve Jobs blog.

“I’m stunned that it’s taken this long,” said Mr Lyons, 46, when a reporter interrupted his vacation in Maine on Sunday to ask him about Fake Steve. “I have not been that good at keeping it a secret. I’ve been sort of waiting for this call for months.”

It has been rumored that "Fake Steve" was seeking a book or movie deal based on his online personna. We'll now have to wait to see if that comes to pass...
