Apple restocking iPhone


As the number of days the iPhone has been on sale has increased, so has the number of locations sold out of the hot-selling device. The mothership's iPhone at the Apple Store Retail web page indicates that, although 95 (up from 60+ on Monday) say they have sold out of the device, some stores in California have been restocked.

Yesterday, only two Apple Stores in California--both located in San Francisco--reported having product.

Nearly all AT&T stores (locator) had sold out of the iPhone as of yesterday. It's unclear whether any of those locations have been restocked.

Editor's note: At this point, it couldn't hurt Apple to make some sort of announcement vis-a-vis sales data. Perhaps they're hoping to tell the world they've sold 500,000 or more units...
