Apple offering universal app list
February 13th 2006
Apple, a company perhaps better known for tasty cafeteria food, is offering a listing of applications that run natively on its line of (lesser known) Intel-powered computers. As one might expect, software from our favorite fruit company is listed before third-party products.
All-told the mothership states that 670 bits, bobs and full-blown applications are Intel-optimized. That's quite an improvement since IGM first began tracking Intel-optimized software in the dark days of January.
Editor's note: Is the lack of universal versions of Adobe's Creative Suite and Mr Softy's Office a brake on Mactel sales?
